THE DANISH SISTERHOOD OF AMERICA
GAMES
BRO – BRO –BRILLE
(The Castle Bridge)
How to Play:
- 2 children each select the name of a fruit.
- They take each others hands and form, with reaching arms, a bridge.
- The other children form a chain by holding onto the waist of the child in front of him or her and all run under the bridge.
- On "....og putter ham i gryden" (catches him in the pot) the "BRIDGE" catches one or more of the children in the chain.
- The caught children are taken to the side and asked which of the fruits they would choose. Then line up behind that fruit.
- When all have been caught in the "pot" and have chosen a kind of fruit, the two lines try to pull each other over a designated line.
- The line with the strongest pullers win.
Words of the Song:
Bro, bro, brille!
